ABOUT US

Hello my name is Val Whitehouse, l have been breeding Great Danes for almost 10 years now.

My aims are to provide selective breeding for temperament, health and soundness in my dogs. Danes who are a pleasure to live with.

My first Danes were rescues who happened to be harlequin and l was smitten.
l eventually decided to have a puppy and went along to a couple of shows as l had been advised to do by breeders. l couldn't believe my eyes, all those lovely dogs..... Eventually l met Bob Otto and he sold me a lovely girl [Batworth Moet} we called her Molly.

She was the most cheeky puppy l had ever met and so full of character.

As an adult we decided to mate her and from that mating came Ebonory Aphroditis Love (Savvy) and Ebonory Alexander the Great (Alex). And so there l was hooked and still am on this wonderful breed.

l originate from the West Midlands but wanted somewhere peaceful for me and my family (humans and dogs) and so moved just over the Shropshire border into a small village in Powys. lt is a peaceful place where my dogs and l live amicably together.

l have put together some pictures of Ebonory dogs from the last 10 years that hopefully will give you some idea why l love this most beautiful of breeds.

Most recently l have undertaken a new breeding programme and anticipate new puppies within the next 6 weeks.
